We totally enjoyed our experience with Scott "Your Sydney Guide", and it was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Australia. We booked this as a private tour for just us two and went September 2019. It was well worth it to go with Scott rather than the other larger tours primarily because we could sculpt our own custom tour of Blue Mountains within their options. We opted to skip Featherdale wildlife because we had already visited the wildlife habitat in Port Douglas, yet we had a full day of awesome experiences. We travel a great deal worldwide and would highly recommend Scott.

Scott picked us up at airport, took us to our hotel, and then we were off seeing the beautiful city of Sydney. On the second day we saw some beautiful countryside. He took very good care of us, and even made us dinner reservations at a good sea food restaurant, where we were told they were to take good care of us, and they did. We then took a 7 days cruise to New Zealand and booked a one day tour with Scott when we returned to Sydney. This time Scott took us South and we saw many beautiful places. Scott was open to stopping at any point that looked interesting to us. We are ranchers from Texas, so when we went by a cattle auction we ask Scott to turn around and go back. He enjoyed it as much as we did and said he might put this stop on future tours. Scott took us to a store that we both bought hats and a vest. I wear both all the time. We give Scott an A+ on our Aussie tour with him. We still talk about what a wonderful experience it was and plan on going back as soon as we can. John & Cindy Middleton, Texas, USA

What a memorable day we had with Scott, from the time he picked us up at our Sydney hotel to go to the Blue Mountains, to the time he dropped us off. Our group of 4 weren’t sure whether damage from January (2020) fires would ruin our experience, however, so that we were safe, smoke-free, and still able to get wonderful views. Our interests did not include the usual tourist attractions, so our experience was crowd-free, personal and made us feel special. He also introduced us to native birds, gave us much local history, and arranged a lovely lunch. Spending the day with Scott was like spending the day with a long-time friend. The time flew by, and we were sad to say good-bye at day’s end. (This writer, unfortunately, became car sick, however, Scott was not only sympathetic but also well-equipped to professionally handle the situation. I was most grateful!)

We had a fabulous one day tour of the Blue Mountains with Scott in November 2018. From the minute he picked us up in the morning until he delivered us late that afternoon, the day was filled with unique and special experiences from seeing a baby joey eating with mom while hanging out of her pouch to having lunch with locals at a lovely cafe in a valley to incredible views. It is always better to see somewhere new through a local and Scott is exceptional.

We had a fantastic vacation in Sydney and YourSydneyGuide played a big role to make this trip a memorable one. We booked our city tour and Blue Mountain Tour with Scott, he attended to our every need and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. He was well informed in all the places we visited. The kids especially enjoyed his stories as he was engaging and lively. We couldn’t ask for a better guide!

This is 2 years ago that we took this tour. We have a wonderful private tour with Scott to blue mountain and on the way he took us to try out kangaroo meat pie which is very different.then he took us to a view point which has a great mountain view and also visiting a zoo with a big variety of animals and birds. And of course the blue mountain is amazing. We have lots of fun. And Scott is very patience and very knowledgeable and explain everything we need to know. Thanks again Scott we will never get about you and will recommend to friends if they are going to Sydney.

We hired Your Sydney Guides for a day in the Blue Mountains. I am usually very meticulous about setting the itinerary but i gave them some suggestions of things i read about and what we like to do and let them set the itinerary. Peter was our guide. He was early and arrived in a very nice car. Peter was very likable and knowledgeable and a very good conversationalist. The itinerary they set was great. Exactly my kind of day following some of the themes of what we wanted to do. We made several stops including some short walks (20-30 minutes) to Wentworth Falls. Then Peter took us to meet Charlie, our guide for the main hike of the day - Grand Canyon Trail. Charlie was also a great hiking companion and as he saw we were good hikers he took us off the main trail into the canyon which was great. We met Peter again where we stopped at a nice cafe for lunch. We stopped a couple of more times to view the three sisters and a nice town to walk around for some ice cream and a late coffee and then headed back to Sydney. It was a fantastic day and the guides were great. Highly, highly recommend.

We took (2) tours during our visit to Sydney. One to the Blue Mountains with Scott and one to the Hunter Valley with Peter. Both days were so delightful. Scott knows the Blue Mountains in all their splendor, history and lifeforms. His patience, guidance and customization to our interests was beyond compare. It was a day of ease, beauty and tranquility in one of the most unique places on earth. Our day with Peter in the Hunter Valley was everything a wine lover enjoys. Vineyards full of history and personal investment tasting vintages under the guidance of warm and wonderful people. Peter was a informative and fun guide. In no way could we have had either experience on our own. We are ever grateful for the splendid experiences we shared. Whether you are native to Australia or not, I encourage everyone to gift themselves with a guided tour day with YourSydneyGuide.

We booked a trip with Scott just when the Corona virus impact was starting. We couldn’t be happier being on our own in a private car. Scott was informative and like having a good friend showing us his home town. Even though weather was not great, Scott found a away to make it fun for our 9 year old (scouting for Kangaroos). Overall a great trip, a great guide and great way to safely see the Bleu Mountains. If you are going to Blue Mountains, books with this company!

I would highly recommend Scott and his company as the best way to make the most of your visit to Sydney. He is a native of the area, very knowledgeable and very personable. He took us to all the off-the- beaten-track places to view the scenic Blue Mountains. There were few people at each viewpoint since the large tour buses just couldn’t park there. Each one afforded us different views of this iconic area. Scott was also very flexible with the itinerary and designed it to meet our requests. The place he chose for lunch was the best too! Great food in a scenic out of the way location. In summary, We had a perfect day with Scott! Be sure to contact him when you are visiting Sydney!
